Y Felinheli is a small village in Gwynedd North Wales. It has been holding Cage Bird Shows for over 60 years having entries of over 1000 Birds at its peake. In 2006 the show received over 150 Budgies in its annual open show and decided to apply for the Bronze Patronage from The Budgerigar Society..
After receiving this Patronage it was decided to hold our first Championship Show in 2007 not knowing what sort of response we would receive. We decided on October 28th and after a lot of hard work we received an entry of 354 with a benched figure of 309 ( fantastic for our first show ). Many thanks to all who exhibited, all the local boys and the exhibitors who travelled from the Wrexham, Warrington, Merseyside and Flintshire areas who all worked hard on the day of the show.
This Years show was held on October 26th and we had a benched figure of 386 . A great result for only our second show. There is more information in the 2008 Show results page on the left hand side of this page.
