Y Felinheli is a small village in Gwynedd North Wales. It has been holding Cage Bird Shows for over 60 years having entries of over 1000 Birds at its peake. In 2006 the show received over 150 Budgies in its annual open show and decided to apply for the Bronze Patronage from The Budgerigar Society..

After receiving this Patronage it was decided to hold our first Championship Show this year not knowing what sort of response we would receive. We decided on October 28th and after a lot of hard work we received an entry of 354 with a benched     figure of 309 ( fantastic for our first show ). Many thanks to all who exhibited, all the local boys and the exhibitors who travelled from the Wrexham, Warrington, Merseyside and Flintshire areas who all worked hard on the day of the show.

This Year we will receive Silver Patronage and are already looking forward and thinking of ways of improving the show. Some of the improvements are the fantastic prize money of over £400 due to the kindness of the local fanciers and buissneses in our area.These include £50 Best Budgie £40 Best Young Bird, £40 Best Adult and many more.
