2008 CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW RESULTS
 
This year was only our second Championship show, after such a succesfull first one last year and receiving Silver Patronage this year we knew we would have to work hard to keep the Silver for next year. Thanks to the exhibitors that exhibited on the day and all that helped on the day we received an entry of 481 with a benched figure of 386. Exhibitors travelled from Warrington, Flintshire, Sandbach,Merseyside/Southport, Stoke on Trent, Nantwich and two exhibitors travelled from Gloucester. We also had the local exhibitors who support the club year in year out, many thanks to you all.
 
Best in Show went to a superb Normal Grey cock from the partnership of Harry & Don Hockaday a worthy winner on the day.Best Young Bird in Show went to another partnership with another outstanding bird , a Normal Grey Green Cock. Best Opposite sex in Show went to G.W Jones's Double Factor yellow hen. Miss Helen Smith won both major awards in the Junior Section her Normal Blue winning the Any Age Section and her Dominant Pied winning the Young Bird Section.
